Walnut Grove Fire Protection District

The Walnut Grove Fire Protection District is divided between two different stations; one on the East side and one on the West side of the Sacramento River. We are an all volunteer department and our stations are not manned. We have a Chief, two Assistant Chiefs, a Battalion Chief, four Captains, and 15 volunteer firefighters. We own seven fire rigs and two Fire-Rescue boats. Our district is 80 square miles but our boat covers 80 miles of waterways throughout the Delta.
